I’m Iris Vukovic. I hold a master's degree in data science from the University of Barcelona and a bachelor's degree in mathematics from UC Santa Cruz.

My master's thesis compared different fairness methods for clinical tasks using the MIMIC-IV dataset. In it, I aimed to find a method that mitigates model bias while maintaining model accuracy and transparency.

I'm interested in anything data science, but specifically the intersection of machine learning and healthcare, with a focus on responsible AI and human-centered approaches.
